MY STORY
I have loved design for as long as I can remember.
House by Kate grew from a genuine love of creating beautiful, characterful spaces that feel like home.
After starting my career in fashion and later renovating my own properties, I realised my true passion lay in interiors — in transforming everyday spaces into something timeless, personal and full of warmth.
What began as sharing my own home online quickly evolved into helping others design theirs. Today, through House by Kate, I work with clients who want homes that feel effortlessly stylish, welcoming and made for family life.
My approach is rooted in balance — pairing beauty with practicality, old with new, colour with calm. The result is a home that not only looks beautiful but feels considered, comfortable and uniquely yours.

I am passionate about creating beautiful homes for clients with great taste, but who are short of time.
I don’t believe great design comes from following a single style — it comes from understanding how you live and what makes you feel at home.
My role is to interpret your taste and bring it to life in a way that feels cohesive, considered and effortlessly beautiful. I’m drawn to spaces that feel warm and timeless — a blend of old and new, with layers of texture, colour and personality.
Every home has its own character, and I believe design should respond to that — what feels right in a Victorian terrace may not suit a modern new build. Part of my role is finding what best complements your home’s architecture and atmosphere.
Each project is unique, but all share a common thread: homes that are functional, relaxed and full of character — the kind of spaces that feel lived-in and loved from day one.
